Our review
Kuzco is a young emperor who cares only about himself. A bad adviser turns him into a llama by mistake. A kind farmer named Pacha helps him get home, and Kuzco learns to care about other people. It is fast and silly, and the heart of it is sound. A proud ruler is brought low, is shown mercy he did not earn, and changes. Pacha is a good husband and father, and his family is happy and whole.

Common Sense Media says six and up. No Catholic classification was found. Greydanus at Decent Films praises its moral and its loving family. Things to know: Yzma tries to poison the emperor and then hunts him. There are long falls, jaguars, scorpions and a dark jungle. A spider eats a fly. Kuzco is rude for most of the film and says things like 'shut up' and 'I hate you.' He insults a row of possible brides. Potions turn people into animals, with no spells. Kronk argues with a tiny angel and devil on his shoulders. Ask: why does Pacha keep helping someone who treats him badly? When does Kuzco first choose another person over himself? What is the difference between being important and being good?
