House of Worship

2026 · Elliott Eicheldinger · Worship music concert documentary

Acceptable with guidance. Age: All ages. A Catholic review of this movie for parents.

Our review

A clean, prayerful concert of well-known praise songs. The artists speak with sincerity about faith in Jesus, doubt and grief, and they pray for one another and for the viewer. The reservation: it comes from the Protestant worship world, so its picture of worship leaves out the sacraments and the Mass. The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life.

For parents

Fine for all ages and nice to watch as a family. Explain that these are Protestant musicians who love Jesus and that their songs can be good prayer. Ask: what is the difference between singing about God and singing to Him? Why is the Mass the greatest worship we can offer?
