Our review
This is Fatima told with reverence and in the right order: the Lady asks for prayer and sacrifice, the children suffer for saying what they saw, and heaven keeps its promise in the sky. Our Lady is shown as a tender mother, the children as both ordinary and holy. The honest reservation is Hollywood's invented rogue and a few bent facts. Lucia herself preferred other versions.
For parents
Fine for children about seven and up; the jail scenes and threats are brief. Ask why Jacinta, Francisco, and Lucia keep telling the truth when it costs them. Explain that Fatima is approved private revelation that helps us live the Gospel but adds nothing to it (CCC 67).
