A gentle story with a good heart: a man who chose his wife and daughter over fame learns again that he chose well, and a liar is shown up by the truth. But it carries about 51 f-words, pot smoking, an implied threesome, and a lesbian wedding framed as a happy partnership. That approved same-sex wedding crosses a line that by itself makes a title Not recommended.
For parents
Not recommended, and for adults only. The good thread is worth naming: Rick does not regret choosing his family. Ask: what is fame worth next to a family? Be clear that marriage is the union of a man and a woman (CCC 1601, 2357) and that truth matters even when it costs (CCC 2468).
