Strange World

Our review
The clearest case of a portrayal that by itself makes a title Not recommended: a celebrated same-sex romance arc for a lead character, encouraged on screen by his whole family, aimed at Disney's youngest audience. Sits below Wicked because the audience is younger and the content is central, not incidental. One genuine positive: a warm, intact marriage at the story's center.
For parents
If your kids saw it: the film's own logic is that the family affirms whatever Ethan feels. Ask what love actually requires of us, and why wanting someone's good is not the same as approving everything they want. The father-son reconciliation thread is real and worth keeping.
