Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu

Our review
A loud, well-made space adventure built on a good thing: a father who would die for his adopted son, and a son who saves him in return. Rotta's wish to be better than his cruel father adds a quiet story of redemption. The reservation is the violence: frequent killing, a few jarring kills, and monsters that eat people. Not for young children.
For parents
Best for 13 and up, as OSV News and the PG-13 both say. Expect frequent shooting and stabbing, scary creatures and one 'hell.' The Force is story-world power, not a real spiritual path. Ask: how do Mando and Grogu protect each other? Can Rotta become different from his father?
