This is a gentle, funny show about the good earth and the people who tend it. Kids answer questions, farmers share their craft, and viewers learn where an apple comes from. It never names the Creator, though it invites wonder at creation. The cost is a steady run of toilet humor and a couple of mild drug jokes from the host.

Lumen's age is 13 because Netflix rates it TV-14; Common Sense Media says 10+. The reason is a steady run of potty jokes and a couple of mild drug jokes from the host. Ask: who made the soil, the seed and the rain? Plant something together and talk about tending God's gifts, as Adam was set to till the garden (Genesis 2:15).
