Our review
The anti-scapegoating spine is genuinely strong and the craft earns its stars, but the film flunks the Lumen standard on two independent grounds: OSV's own review flagged the adulterous incident and same-sex flirtation, and the born-wicked framing flirts with explaining sin away as circumstance.
For parents
If your teen has seen it: the propaganda machinery is real material. Ask who the Wizard scapegoats and why the crowd believes him. Then ask what the title song gets wrong about where wickedness comes from; sin is chosen, not thrust upon anyone.
